Terror Rose Halloween Costume Contest 2026

Terror Rose is our Halloween party and costume contest at Tara Rose, on Saturday, October 31 at 384 3rd Ave in Murray Hill.

Get your tickets here, they are going scary fast.

Sign ups for the costume contest are on Resy. Costumes are judged by our guests and staff on originality and creativity. First place wins a $100 Tara Rose gift card, and second place wins a free round of drinks for their table. Winners are announced at 9pm, an hour after the Downtown Halloween NYC Bar Fest finishes.

The day starts with bottomless brunch from 10am to 4pm, and costumes are welcome from the first round. Happy hour prices are on from 10am until close, with 2 for $24 on shareables and our new fall cocktails on the bar. The room is dressed in fall foliage and Halloween decor for the week.

Tara Rose is a check in venue for the Bar Fest, which takes place from 12pm to 8pm, so you can collect your wristband here and start the crawl with us. Bar Fest tickets are sold through downtownbarfest.com, and the costume contest is open to everyone who signs up, with or without a wristband.

Walk ins are welcome all day, and tables for October 31 are on Resy.

More on the day, including drink prices and other Halloween events in the city, is in our Terror Rose Halloween party guide.
