Murray Hill's Best New All-Day Irish Cafe Is Coming: Brunch, Coffee, and Workspace at Tara Rose
Murray Hill has always known Tara Rose as a place for high-energy nights and modern Irish hospitality. But we realized that the neighborhood was missing a true "third space"—a place that understands the shift from a 9 AM espresso to a 5 PM social hour. We wanted to create a sanctuary where the transition from productivity to relaxation feels completely natural.

Proper Coffee with an Irish Heart
We believe the first cup of the day sets the tone for everything that follows. That is why our coffee program is built on the "built on the "Super Lost" house blend" house blend. It is a curated roast from Brooklyn that carries deep notes of dark chocolate and nougat, specifically developed to mirror the rich, velvety finish of a classic Irish stout.
For us, coffee is about heritage. Alongside our house roast, we feature a rotating selection of blends from premier Irish roasters, bringing a taste of Ireland’s world-class specialty coffee scene directly to 3rd Avenue. Whether you are grabbing a quick "Dublin Fizz"—our spritzy espresso and tonic—or sitting down with a signature Irish Styled Flat White, every drink is prepared with the same craft and precision we bring to our cocktail menu.
The Irish Breakfast, Served Every Single Day
A proper meal shouldn't be a weekend luxury. We’ve brought our signature Irish breakfast and brunch menu to the table seven days a week, so you can find the warmth of an Irish kitchen in the heart of Manhattan whenever the craving hits.
The menu is a balance of traditional comfort and modern flavor. You’ll find our Golden Eggs—a take on Turkish eggs using browned, spiced Kerrygold butter—served with traditional soda bread that’s perfect for dipping. For something sweeter, our Banana Bread French Toast is topped with a generous dusting of shredded Irish flake chocolate. And, of course, the legend remains: our Irish Spice Bag. Hailed as the best in NYC, it features that unmistakable mix of crispy fries, peppers, and our 24-hour buttermilk-soaked chicken, served with McDonnells Curry.

We designed Tara Rose Cafe to be a home-away-from-home for the Murray Hill community. We know what a productive morning requires: floods of natural light, high-speed Wi-Fi, and, most importantly, ample outlets. It’s a space where the playlist is curated to keep you focused and the atmosphere is cozy enough to make a full workday feel like a breeze.
If you’re on the move, our grab-and-go station is stocked with freshly brewed coffee, incredible pastries, and protein-packed energy bites, designed to fit into a busy New York schedule without compromising on quality. But if you have the time, we invite you to settle in. From our local run clubs to wellness workshops, we are building more than a cafe; we are building a neighborhood anchor.

The magic of the space is in how it evolves. As the afternoon light begins to fade, the laptop screens close, and the energy shifts. The cafe naturally transitions into a social destination where the conversation flows as easily as the drinks.
Our dinner menu has evolved into a curated selection of "Irish Tapas"—small plates designed for sharing and discovery. You’ll find favorites like our Cheesy Fried Colcannon Balls and our Irish Cheddar Mac and Cheese, which is finished with the salty, nostalgic crunch of crushed Tayto crisps. It’s a lighter, more exciting way to spend an evening, paired perfectly with a craft cocktail or a glass from our curated wine list as we head into Happy Hour at 4:00 PM.
