Coffee, Brunch and Cocktails All Day at Tara Rose

Murray Hill just got more caffeinated. Tara Rose has launched a completely revamped coffee program, pouring Superlost Coffee, roasted in Brooklyn.  Open all day from morning coffee to late night cocktails in the same room. Early on it is a coffee shop in Murray Hill, later in the day it is brunch, happy hour and cocktails. Brunch is now served seven days a week, and the full drinks and dinner menu is available right up to close.

Coffee to Start the Day

We pour Superlost Coffee, roasted in Brooklyn. Drip coffee, espresso, americano, latte, cappuccino, flat white and cortado are all on the counter, alongside cold brew, matcha latte, spiced chai and a small tea list: peach and ginger, jasmine green, chamomile and peppermint. Add a syrup, cold foam or alternative milk if you want it. Coffee is available from the moment doors open, 11am Monday through Friday and 10am on Saturday and Sunday.

Brunch, Every Day of the Week

Brunch used to be a weekend only thing at Tara Rose. Now it is available seven days a week, 11am to 4pm. The full brunch menu is on offer daily, including the lox, mushroom florentine, lemon ricotta pancakes, the California omelette, chicken and waffles and shakshuka.

On Saturday and Sunday, brunch goes bottomless. $29.95 per person gets 90 minutes of unlimited mimosas, Bellini, bloody mary, Modelo on draft or Aperol spritz, with alcohol free spritz and paloma options too. Afternoon Into Evening

The room does not empty out after brunch. Happy hour is Monday to Friday, 3pm to 7pm, with drink specials all night on Thursday. Expect 2 for $24 shareables, $9 Aperol spritz, $10 Hugo spritz, $11 Paloma, $10 Kick Ass Mule, $8 select drafts and $10 house wine.

The shareables and dinner menu cover guac and chips, fried calamari, charred Brussels, the Irish spice bag, truffle fries, Greek fries and fish tacos, plus larger plates like the grilled steak frites, grilled salmon and cacio e pepe bucatini. On the drinks side, the cocktail list includes the Key Lime Martini, Smoked Old Fashioned, Espresso Martini, Paper Plane and the classic Margarita.

One Room, One Day
