The bar team built a match day cocktail menu specifically for the tournament. Six drinks, each tied to a nation. Pitchers available on every one of them.

El Tri Sour — Mezcal, For Mexico. Del Maguey Vida mezcal, fresh lime, agave nectar, egg white. Tajin-dusted foam, chili-lime salt rim. Built for a Mexico kickoff.

The Pulsic — Bourbon, For USA. Bulleit Bourbon, fresh lemon, honey syrup, Angostura bitters. Shaken and strained. The American call of the tournament.

The Wembley — Gin, For England. Hendrick's Gin, St-Germain Elderflower, fresh lemon, tonic. Tall, cold, and exactly right for a 4pm kickoff.

The Highland — Scotch, For Scotland. Monkey Shoulder Scotch, fresh lemon, honey syrup, ginger. Rocks over one large ice cube. Candied ginger and lemon twist.

La Roja — Aperol, For Spain. Aperol, fresh orange and lemon juice, Prosecco. Built over ice in a wine glass. An orange half wheel on top.

Le Bleu — Lillet Blanc, For France. Lillet Blanc, Chambord, fresh lemon, honey syrup, egg white. Silky foam, expressed lemon peel. France's drink of the tournament.

Getting Here — The Easiest World Cup Bar in Midtown Manhattan

Tara Rose is at 384 3rd Ave, Murray Hill, New York, NY 10016. The 6 train stops at 33rd Street, two blocks away. Grand Central Terminal is a ten minute walk. Penn Station is reachable in under 15 minutes on the subway.

For the MetLife Stadium match days — including the World Cup Final on July 19 — Murray Hill is one of the most logical pre and post-match bases in Manhattan. The NJ Transit train from Penn Station to the stadium takes around 25 minutes. Come to Tara Rose first, watch the build-up, then make the short journey out.
